ELIGIBILITY

◾Applicant must be a Ghanaian (Applicant must possess a Ghana card, Passport or Birth Certificate for verification of identity).

◾Applicant must have an admission letter from a tertiary institution (University or Technical University) in Ghana.

◾Applicant must be a first year student of the institution.

◾Applicant admitted to pursue Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) shall be given preference

◾Applicant must not be above the age of thirty-five (35) years at the time of applying for the scholarship, Applicant must complete a scholarship application form with a recent passport size picture.

The Ghana Gas Scholarship scheme has been instituted to award scholarship to brilliant but needy Ghanaian students. It is open to both male and female students pursuing Undergraduate Degree/Higher National Diploma (HND) programs in tertiary institutions in Ghana. To help you prepare, we have outlined the information you will need below.

Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE)

Senior High/Technical /Vocational school examination certificate

Applicant shall upload admission letter from his/her tertiary institution of study.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Applicant shall complete and upload an essay of career objectives to justify his or her request for the scholarship by Ghana Gas. The essay should not be more than 200 words.

Applicant may upload any other supporting document(s) that will assist in the processing of the application.

APPLICANT EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

If an applicant is an employee, name, address and contact information of the employer and Current payslip will be required.

ENDORSEMENT

Applicant shall have the endorsement section of this application downloaded and endorsed by any of the following, clergy/pastor, legal practitioner, Chief or a senior civil/public servant, and uploaded to the list of attached documents.

FINDING THE APPROPRIATE TREATMENT FOR DEPRESSION

Depression, also known as persistent sadness, is actually quite common in the world; approximately 9.5% of the global population actually suffers from this illness. But this shouldn’t really pose that much of an issue since those who suffer from depression are really fortunate in that there are many different therapies for depression that can be employed to help a person down the path to having healthy mental well being.

By simply being honest with oneself, it will be a lot easier not only for the doctor but for the patient most of all, to actually cure depression and find an appropriate depression treatment that is suited for him or her. This is the first step in the treatment of depression, which actually begins with the patient openly acknowledging his or her illness.

 

DOES DEPRESSION HAVE DRUGS

There are several drugs (such as the antidepressant depression therapy Zoloft) in addition to a wide variety of treatments that promise to be the most effective treatment for depression. These therapies for depression are guaranteed to provide the greatest possible outcomes, which will benefit not only the patient but also the patient’s family.

GNAT Mutual Fund New Short Code Registration 2024

The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has created a mutual fund for its members to use for their retirement and for short term loans. The members of the mutual fund, which is also known as the teachers fund, have access to a mobile short code that may be used for a variety of reasons.

However, the currently used short code will soon be replaced with a new one, and a different short code specific to the teachers fund has been made available for members to use when doing self-service transactions.

The following list of self-services are accessible via the usage of the self-service short code for the teachers’ fund: The automatic services The following are examples of uses for the short code:

a. in order to validate the individual’s fund ID

b. to verify that the member’s current contribution amount has not changed

c. to verify the total amount that the member has donated up to this point

d. to propose an increase in the amount that the members contribute on a monthly basis

d. to inquire about the yearly financial report of the members.

The following is the text message that was sent to all GNAT members across the country from the Teachers’ Fund board:

The Fund’s current short code *800# will no longer be active from Mon 13th Feb 2023. Please use the new short code *888# instead. Members of the teachers’ fund who wish to use the self-service short code system must first of all register on the platform using a one-time pass code accessible from district secretaries of the union.

On the other hand, it is not clear if current users of the old short code will be required to re-register in order to make use of the new short code. It is not obvious either why the previously used short code will no longer be in operation.

However, our group has come to the conclusion that the reason for this is because the formerly used short code is now connected with the staff bundle package that is available to teachers throughout the nation.
