At Winneba, in the Effutu Municipality of the Central Region, the body of a suspected thief who was believed to be in his 30s was allegedly found left by the side of the road after being murdered.

On the morning of Thursday, the body of the deceased person was discovered along the Winneba Water Works Road close to the ICGC Church with a knife and a screwdriver lying next to him.
