It was a situation beyond our control.
In our last update, we indicated that, a formal letter was sent to the mof through the appropriate channel and a follow up was made in that regard to have a formal meeting with Minister of Health and His officials.
We were told the minister was not in the country and when he comes back, they will call leadership for the meeting requested. Since then, it has been from one story to the other.
All efforts has been made to meet them to know the state of our financial clearance and posting but to no avail. Apart from what the vice president said in the programme organised by GRNMA.

“We want the Ministries of Health and Finance to work together and get us employed. We have stayed home for far too long after acquiring a lot of knowledge in school. We want to go out there and help save lives, that is why we went to school.”
“The government must help us realize our dreams by getting us employed. We are not happy the way we are being treated, enough is enough. Some of us have been staying home since 2020 after completing school. This’s not fair,” Sarah Mensah said.
NOTE: The unemployed graduate nurses and midwives have fix the month of July to register their displeasure at the office of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Health starting from 15th July to 17th July 2020.
