The Nursing and Midwifery Council (N&MC) has officially announced that its Greater Accra Regional Office will be relocating to a new office location effective Monday, June 1, 2026.
The announcement, which has quickly gained attention among nurses, midwives, and health trainees across Ghana, is considered an important development aimed at improving administrative services and accessibility for healthcare professionals within the region.
According to the public notice released by the Council, the Greater Accra Regional Office will now operate from the Head Office located at:📍 30 Gulf Street, Accra

The relocation means that all official regional office services previously handled at the former office location will now be carried out from the new premises.
This transition is expected to affect thousands of nurses, midwives, students, and healthcare professionals who regularly visit the regional office for services such as:
✅ PIN/AIN processing
✅ License renewal
✅ Verification requests
✅ Professional registration
✅ Indexing services
✅ Certificate authentication
✅ Internship documentation
✅ CPD-related activities
For many healthcare professionals, the relocation announcement is seen as a strategic move to improve coordination and administrative efficiency within the Council’s operations.
The Nursing and Midwifery Council continues to play a very important role in regulating nursing and midwifery practice in Ghana by ensuring professional standards, ethical conduct, and quality healthcare delivery.
As a result, any major operational change involving the Council naturally attracts nationwide attention within the health sector. NMC Ghana Greater Accra Office Official Relocates-Check Current Location Here
